We are always looking for extra hands!

  • Help teachers in the classroom
  • Yard duty at recess and lunch
  • Professionals for on-campus activities such as health week, Red Ribbon Week and science lab
  • Fundraiser events such as fall gala, crab feed and golf tournament
  • Coaches for sports teams

Your volunteer time is greatly appreciated and beyond any measurable value! We are always seeking extra hands in the classroom, in the library or elsewhere on campus. There is a place for everyone willing to lend a helping hand!

"Don’t forget to do good and to share what you have because God is pleased with these kinds of sacrifices." Hebrews 13:16

Assist in the classroom : Help teachers in the classroom with special projects, tutoring or simply extra support during the school day.

Help in the library : Spend time reading to students and help them pick out books. Work with Library Chairs to re-stock and organize returned books.

Coach a sports team : All our Cougar sports teams are coached by volunteers. We are always seeking devoted coaches and assistants to lead our teams to victory!

Share your professional knowledge : We welcome the opportunity for guest speakers, demonstrations and activities. Health Week (before Jog-A-Thon), Red Ribbon Week (October) and Catholic Schools Week (January) are all great times to share your professional knowledge and wisdom with our students. Our Science Lab also offers a unique classroom setting for science-based demonstrations

Help at a fundraiser event : We are always in need of volunteers to help at our annual Gala, Crab Feed and Cougar Classic Golf Tournament. Help set up decorations, be a bartender for the night or monitor the silent auction. There are endless opportunities!

Work around campus : Our groundskeeper could always use some extra help keeping our campus looking sharp. We appreciate any help with landscaping, tree trimming, weed wacking and cleaning.

Dig in at God's Garden : Our on-campus garden grows food for the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet. We appreciate volunteers who help keep our garden not only looking good, but also producing!

If you are interested in donating your time as a volunteer, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at sjcsvolunteers@saintjosephauburn.org
All on-campus volunteers must submit a Live Scan.
