The SJCS Parent Club brings parents together to build community through school fundraisers, social events, and on-campus service. The Parent Club is our volunteer hub, helping us organize, coordinate and communicate to bring amazing things to the SJCS community.
Fundraising
The PC plans and executes fundraisers for the school. These funds are critical to the success of the school and providing a Catholic education at an affordable rate.
Social Events
The PC coordinates and conduct events intended to build fellowship and community among school families. These events are not intended to contribute any net profits to the school, but rather to focus on the spirit of community.
Enrichment/Service
The PC helps support the school through functional service aimed to enrich the on-campus experience for students.

All SJCS parents are part of the Parent Club. If you are interested in volunteering and contributing to the school and campus, you should consider being an active participant of the Parent Club. Being an active part of the Parent Club helps build our SJCS community while providing the opportunity to meet other parents. The more parents who dedicate time to our school, the more vibrant our community will be!
The PC is composed of PC Officers, Fundraising Chairs, Social Chairs and Service Chairs. Beyond this, chairs may form committees to help plan/execute their duties. You do not have to hold a chair position to be an active part of the Parent Club. The PC serves as a hub for all volunteers, helping us organize, coordinate and communicate.
The PC meets once a month. Meeting dates are put on the school calendar at the start of the school year. Keep your eye on Cougar Tracks and Instagram for reminders of upcoming meetings.
The PC meets with a formal agenda provided to attendees. The goal is to keep the meeting to one hour or less, with most discussion being updates from chairs. However, there will undoubtedly be many sub-committee meetings happening to brainstorm and further plan events.
We realize not all parents can attend the PC Meetings. That does not mean you can not be an active volunteer in the PC! Contact the PC President to see where the best opportunity would be for you. There is a place for everyone! We also recommend you keep yourself in the loop by reading the PC Meeting Minutes.
